Unattended Import Service
The Data Warehousing program runs as a service under Windows NT. It automatically detects files as they are transferred from the HP 3000 (typically using FTP). The import service reads delimited or fixed layout files, and loads the data into Microsoft SQL Server. You pick your own analytical tools and report writers.
Performance, Disaster Recovery
Why waste precious processing resources trying to access your HP 3000 in real time, when last night's data will do? SQL data warehouses also provide access to your data when the HP 3000 is down.
